Drew gets McLaren to Podium
KC Flightt’s dominance of the Turkish GP proved there is no quit in the Renault driver in his heated battle with Glyn Cooper of Team Williams. KC took pole and then left the field from the start for a stellar run to the finish line. If Cooper had any chance, it all came to an end when he cut down a tyre on debris from some carbon fiber with a Red The BMW of Thomas again showing strong performance at Istanbul with a P-5 finish shows theBull decal on it! BMW veteran is back in top form. However the talk of the post race party circuit was clearly all about Team McLaren. Since the behind closed doors deal that brought the Aussi driver Dan into the team, expectations have been running high. And Istanbul proved they may be for real as the McLaren Duo finished 3rd and 4th.
BrawnGP’s C2F, Renault’s Hitman and Red Bull’s JJ rounded out the points with solid performance’s in P-6- 7and 8 respectively.
In the Constructors, Team Williams grabbed the lead back from BrawnGP by 2 points with Renault just 1
point back of BrawnGP. What a battle not only for the Drivers Championship but as well the Constructors!
