The 2009 F1 Season in The USF1 may have gone down as the most competitive and closest Championship to date.
Team Renault and Team Williams provided a back and forth battled that saw the Constructors Title go right down to the wire and finally decided at Brazil. While KC Flightt and Glyn Cooper, battled back and forth all season for the Drivers Title until The Great KC Flightt finally succumbed to the relentless pressure of the Williams Driver!
In the end it was the consistency of Glyn Coopers performance that landed the 1st year USF1 driver the 2009 Drivers Title.
The 2009 Season started with 22 drivers on grid. And wasn’t till late in the season that the grid started to fade. But the true competitors stayed in the battle as we saw BMW’s Mr. T. make a late season charge. As well as some new faces showing future talent like Kerlan Andrews, Ithivo and Coy Wilburn.2010 will see veterans like MarkL, Tom Oliver, RubenM, DaleB, ChrisP, BernyM and others returning to fight
again along with some promising new talent already
signed on like Scott Brown, Brandon Grant and others.
With the 2010 Season fast approaching,
it looks like its going to be another great season!
